The "Dutchess" was built in 1910 at the Thomas Marvel Shipyards, Newburgh, N.Y. Her run ended in 1963 at the opening of the Newburgh Beacon Bridge. The "City of Newburgh" a side wheeler, was built in 1879 at the Ward & Stanton Shipyards, Newburgh. She was broken up in 1939.
